Olives bread
There is nothing more rewarding than preparing your own bread at home. Find out how to do it using European olives. You will repeat for sure!
Ingredients 4 people
Difficulty: Medium
Prep Time: 30 min + 1.5 hours resting
• 2.25 oz. Hojiblanca black olives
• 2.25 oz. Manzanilla green olives
• 3 cups of flour
• A glass of warm water
• 1 teaspoon oregano
• 1 teaspoon toasted sesame
• 3 teaspoons of poppy seeds
• 1 teaspoon instant baking yeast
• 1 teaspoon salt
• Olive oil
• Parchment paper
Directions
Step 1: Chop the olives.Step 2: Mix all the ingredients reserving some poppies and olives to decorate. On the table sprinkle a little flour and mash for a few minutes to integrate well and give temperature to the mixture. It should not stick to your hands.
Step 3: Put the mixture in a bowl or tray, cover with parchment paper and let stand for 1 hour.
Step 4: Smash again and let it ferment another 30 minutes covered with a damp cloth. With a brush coat the surface of the bread with a little oil, put some sesame seeds and a little bit of sliced olives.
Step 5: Bake at 190º for 40 minutes.
