Olives and cheese crackers

When you discover these olives salted crackers and Manchego cheese you can not imagine any appetizer without them. You have been warned!

Ingredients (4 people)

Prep Time: 50 minutes

• 3 oz. Manzanilla olives

• 2.8 oz. of lard

• 3.5 oz. of grated Manchego cheese

• 1 egg yolk

• 3.4 fl. oz. cream

• 4.6 oz. flour

• 1 tbsp. baking powder

• Salt

Directions

Step 1: Cut the olives into slices.

Step 2: In a bowl mix the melted lard, grated cheese, pinch of salt and half of the olives. Mix well. Add the yolk and cream, knead again.

Step 3: Add the sifted flour to the bowl with the baking powder, mix with the hands.

Step 4: On a table, put the dough on top of a little flour and spread with a rolling pin. Cut the cookies with rings. On top we put a few slices of olives, crush a little with your hands so that they adhere well.

Step 5: Bake at 350ºF for 15 minutes. Let cool outside the oven.
