Apple roses with olives

Surprising that special person on Valentine's Day is as simple as baking these apples and olives roses. The ideal dessert to win their heart and palate!.

Prep Time: 40 min

• 6 oz. Hojiblanca olives

• Puff pastry

• 2 red or green apples

• 1 tsp cinnamon

• 3 oz. butter in ointment

• 2 tbsp powdered glass


Step 1: Chop the olives and dehydrate them in the microwave for 20’ aprox. Save them to decorate.

Step 2: Cut the puff pastry into strips 6 cm long. Puncture the dough with a fork so that it does not inflate when baking.

Step 3: Cut the apples in half and then in half very thin slices.

Step 4: On the puff pastry we wet the butter in ointment with the help of a brush and put the apples with the skin out from the middle and fold over the rest to secure them. Roll up, wet again with more butter, put in cupcakes baking molds, sprinkle the cinnamon and finish with the dehydrated olives.

Step 5: Bake for 40 min at 350ºF or until golden brown.

Step 6: Sprinkle with powdered sugar with the help of a strainer.
